At least 15 people comprising of security personnel and civilians have been killed by Boko Haram Terrorists who ambushed the convoy of Governor Babagana Zulum in Borno on Friday.
According to a report by Punch, the Governor’s convoy was attacked between Monguno and Baga where the governor was headed to prepare for the return of Indigenes.
Governor Zulum left Maiduguri with a retinue of armed Policemen, Soldiers, and civilian JTF. A security source confirmed that eight Policemen, three soldiers and four civilian JTF members were killed by Boko Haram.

This is the second time Governor Zulum’s convoy will be attacked around Baga in less than four months.
This attack also comes less than a week after Boko Haram ambushed and killed a celebrated Nigerian Army Colonel and five other soldiers on a clearance mission against the terrorists.
