Osun State Government has announced 12 additional cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 32.
This was disclosed by the state Health Commissioner, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, in a statement on Saturday.
This commissioner disclosed that the 12 new cases were recorded in Osogbo, Ife, Ede, and Ikire areas of the state and were amongst the results of the newly conducted tests, The PUNCH reported.
Isamotu stated that 19 cases have recovered and urged residents to remain calm with full compliance with the curfew imposed on the state in order to contain COVID-19 in the state.
