A 100-year-old woman, Mrs. Omonigbalebo Dani Orogono, has been appointed Special Adviser to the Vice-Chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Mrs. Orogono was appointed SA on Elder Matters via a letter dated February 4, 2020.
The letter was signed by Bedford Ineye, the Personal Assistant to the Vice-Chairman.
The letter of “offer of provisional appointment” written on the council’s official letterheaded paper, reads, “It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been appointed as Special Adviser on Elder Matters to the Vice-Chairman, Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA.
“Your appointment is with immediate effect.
“Congratulations and accept the warmest regard from the Vice-Chairman.”

Kolokuma/Opokuma is a Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Kaiama.
Much of the area of the LGA is occupied by the Bayelsa National Forest.
