This is to all those sweet hearts who have won our hearts over and over again. Despite some few jerks, these men have always restored our faith in the opposite sex.
I realised that we complain too much about how some men treat us (badly, that is) and we forget to really appreciate the men who have been nice to us, who have been kind to us. Who basically are the reason why we keep going out there, trying to find the right guy for us! If your guy has at least five of the qualities below, you should never let him go.
If he walks you home
Regardless of how far it is or how late it is, he takes it as his duty to get you home. This guy will ensure that you feel protected and actually are protected!
Such men are an example for all the others, these are the kind who will walk on that side of the walkway that faces the road. These are the kind who will stand behind us in the crowd, making sure we are protected from every side and that no one dares to make us feel uncomfortable.
If he listens patiently to your endless talks
Ok! Here is a simple truth about men and women; Women talk too much and men can’t listen long enough.
That’s why we always find ourselves asking them if they remember what we told them, which they usually don’t and we end up feeling less important.
But these kind of guys will try hard and make an effort to show you that they could have been doing anything in the world but chose to be right there with you and for you.
If he calls you after you just left him
No he does not disappear into thin air after he has gone to bed with you. He calls you the very morning to check on you. Even if things don’t work out afterwards, even if it was momentarily but they show the kind of respect a woman would want.
The kind of guy that wants to be exclusive with you
These men are mature enough to understand the importance of commitment when the right woman comes along. They don’t feel like their freedom is being threatened or they haven’t enjoyed their lives enough. When they meet a woman who is worth committing to, they will commit themselves. Serious relationships do not bother them.
If he is a feminist
Not that women should be the dominating sex, no one should be really but at least he doesn’t go on saying, ‘women can’t do this or that’. He is the kind who takes women as an equal and does not try and tell them the things they cannot do because even though at times women really can’t do the exact things that men can’t do but they don’t like to be told so. This kind of a guy gets it and doesn’t rub it on women’s faces.
The go to type of guy
Here is the reason why my best friend is a guy; he has been there more than any of my girlfriends. I don’t need to tell him when to be there and what to do; he is just there when I need a friend. I don’t have to form my feelings into sentences that make sense, he would still sit there and understand everything that I say, even if it is utter BS!
That is the kind guy you want in your life.
The doer not the talker
This guy whom you can trust when he gives you his words. He knows the importance of a promise and he knows the pain of a heartbreak! He knows and he will never let you go through it. He will not promise you something he can’t deliver and he will deliver whatever he promises you!
If he is kind to everyone
Oh God! Nothing melts a girl’s heart than a man who has everything going for him yet he is humble and helps others. Who doesn’t want to date a guy who takes out the time from his busy schedule to volunteer at an old age home or a guy who is extra gentle with animals? Trust me! If you do this, any girl would fall for you before knowing you, your name or anything really.
If even his boring jokes makes you laugh
Who doesn’t like a funny guy? A nice, quick-witted guy is a catch and would appeal to any woman who crosses paths with him.
His sense of humour helps lighten up the tensed moments of life. Even when the two of you fight, you both end up laughing because even in that tense moment, he makes things funny. It is always good to have that kind of positivity in your life.
If he boosts your confidence
This guy can do wonders for your confidence, your self-esteem and your drive to achieve your goals.
He will be there to support you and to help you have faith in yourself when it starts to breakdown. They will show you how they believe in you, their inspiring words can really help you in those dark days when everything seems to be falling apart and you just want to hide in a corner.
