Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may no longer be the most high profil interracial couple with the emergence of Malia Obama and Rory Farquharson as a couple.
The two both attend Harvard and are both 19.
The two were spotted together at the Harvard-Yale football game at the beginning of the academic year, and appear to be going strong as they were just spotted taking a walk in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, even stopping so Rory could smoke a cigarette.
But who is Rory Farquharson?
According to the Daily Mail Farquharson is a sophomore at Harvard . They also reported that “Rory is a former head boy of Rugby School, one of the top ‘public’ schools in the United Kingdom and just a rung below the more famous Eton and Harrow.
“According to insiders, he was considered ‘quite a catch’. Rugby charges more than $42,500 (£32,000) a year for tuition and board and is well-known for giving the world the game of rugby.”
He is also the son of chief executive of Insight Investment Management Limited Charles, 57, and Catherine, 58, a qualified accountant.
The family live in a £1.6million six-bed detached in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
He was also a member of its chemistry club the Blue Bunsen Society.
During the summer, the 19-year-old spent the summer as an intern with the Centre for Democracy and Peace Building in Northern Ireland.
There aren’t many pictures of Rory as he also had to delete all of his social media when he started dating Malia same as Meghan did.
