A video has emerged of Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, stating why he could never join partisan politics.
Sanusi, a former Central Bank of Nigeria, stated this in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
The exact date of the interview remains unknown.
He said he lacked the skills required to succeed as a politician.
The erudite economist added that he was afraid that he would destroy his legacy should he join politics.
